Remove non-public content

Before making the site publicly accessible, we have to remove a) the link to the "material" (or the material itself) in the primary menu and b) make the to-do list non-accessible. Solutions to do this: a) remove just the links and we have to remember them to type the URL manually, this ensures we can still use the content (but so can google...) b) install content access module to prevent access to to-do content type for non-admins, however this does not apply for the material section c) install taxonomy access module to allow access to content with specific taxonomy terms (which would have to be applied), don't know if with this menu entries can be assigned to specific roles.
